One Man Banned,
Casiotone Conundrum. As a person I am into music rather a lot. I take time to fill my mind with music, whether it be Bert Jansch or Holy Fuck. It seems apt to use my influences to create somekind of synth/folk cross over. I don't think a vast amount of people will listen to it, but i'm giving it a go. At this moment in time I am cramped in my bedroom, tripping over numerous casiotones and a giant harmonium.
So far i've written 3 or 4 songs using the synths. I'm gradually devising a method in which i can transfer between various sounds through a micro mixer i found in the shed. Who knows whether what i'm creating is any good? I am unsure as to where it belongs, but i enjoy playing and singing/shouting it.
Sunday i went round Jacks to have a go with his home studio. Things started off too professional and when the laptop broke, we ended up plugging the desk into a technics tape recorder. Synths emerged and the long lost flanger made the ultimate intro.
Will definitely get some songs together for next time and get them down! Myspace Casio Cacophony future holds=hopefully.
Please tell me what is thought of my musical concept? Also have a listen to my latest Electronica playlist:
Holy Fuck: Super Inuit
Fuck Buttons: Solar Surf
Kieran Hebden: Foals remixes
Kraftwerk: The Model
Hood: Useless
Where is the pinnacle? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
