Casio Cacophony: The Mothership Has Landed

Few days back i had the privilege of going to Jack's again for another session with the recording contraptions! It was great fun for the both of us and we left with some tracks, I have just made the myspace, check it out and drink down a cool glass of Synth Folk with some hard Casio biscuits on the side.

Computer Anger and Fixed Gears.

Last sunday we left the comfort of Bransgore and decided to head for the hills; they were derelict, and full of hinges, hanging broken objects and post apocalyptic unknown pleasures. We found the remains of an opulent past. Photographic documentation and bike riding lead to roof climbing and skeletal bus happiness. There were vertices and broken keys, crashing noises and fixed gear poises. The rooftop golf and computer anger made Dan crazy. We felt restricted whilst trapped inside a vending machine. Wheels flew and hands flung as bicycles contorted. Fixed gear inclined and angry mind. Computer hatred, keypad naked, all those viruses and letters CTRL ALT DEL! Its all fun at ........ the field of home schooling!

Acousticatorasaur

After writing a few songs for my synth folk project/bathroom gurgle. I decided to revert back to acousticity to see how they would sound on wood and string. To be honest, the lack of feedback and hum sounded better. It is purer. I am desperate to record them, ignoring my computers outdated version of audacity. Myspace too. It will happen, soon/far enough.

I am the operator with my pocket calculator!

Tracklocross Tyrannosaur

Everyday I take the time to ride my fixie, otherwise I go insane and start hitting wooden surfaces with hammers. I strongly believe the ENTYRE world should be riding these things, although most non-cyclists dismiss them as stupid and most cyclists dismiss them as impractical and dangerous. Fixed gear gives you so much less yet so much more. You can have the privilege of riding to a destination at speed and on arrival barspinning yourself silly. Be sure to turn heads and lose all the soft furnishings of your average bike. Beat any xc rider off in the forest, try the odd jump, ride backwards and scare the woman at No.42. Its definitely time to fix up and look sharp!

Its FUNFUNFUN on the Autobahn!

Night Rides

Just a little note about night rides. They are fantastic, especially around the Forest. Out for 2 hours tonight and ate enough mud to drown a hippo. In these coming months will definitely be getting out the big tyres and lights and heading for the hills. Its funfunfun on the Autobahn/Newforest!

Bye for now!
